The writing requires mental representations and a coordination of graphomotor skills, and it has to do with eye-hand coordination, and even with fine motor coordination.

Dysgraphia can be presented in three different ways, they are not necessarily presented alone, that is, they can be combined, for example:

  • Problems in itself, of the written word. You can delete letters, delete fragments of the word or sentence, that is, you can not fully understand everything that has been written.

  • Composition and planning of ideas. It is more noticeable in adults than in children, especially when there are events related to some trauma. Therefore, it is the affectation that causes damage to the brain area and causes different disorders. In the composition of the ideas that the person wishes to transmit on a sheet are not coherent, therefore, missing: texts, words that are incomplete, you can also write an idea and have no relationship to the following in context.

  • Difficulties at motor level. These problems are of a level of perception, is the most common in children who are acquiring literacy. That is, this includes incomplete graphics, loss of space, increased graphics and diminished graphics, this is what is typically seen in children in the process of reading and writing.

It is necessary to bear in mind that they are not replacing or omitting components in the correct writing. It is important to make an assessment to check if the child has any deficiency, because writing is a skill that is acquired when practiced.
