John McAfee willing to start mining Ethereum after Bitcoin as a CEO of MGT.

  John McAfee is CEO of MGT Capital Investments, which is a New York based investment firm announced that the company will start mining Ethereum. 

The firm(MGT) already started mining Bitcoin in July 2016 . They reported in September 2016 that they are mining appr. 90 Bitcoins per month and according to the company report the Bitcoins they mined in a month held a value of $55,000, however since the bitcoin price is surged up, 90 BTC has a value of about $236,000. 

According to the Business Insider the company focused itself to investors mostly as a cybersecurity company, where John McAfee got his name with the well-known computer antivirus product McAfee LLC. John McAfee started to give a major focus on Cryptocurrency, last month he said we have a goal of becoming the biggest in the world and MGT will turn profitable with bitcoin mining. MGT’s stock rose by 63% in one day, just after McAfee was named for the CEO of the company. The cybersecurity guru is pretty much confident on his role in MGT:

 “I don’t know anyone more capable than me,” said McAfee. “I have never lost in terms of business and I certainly don’t intend to start now.”

 We all know that Ethereum can also be mined like Bitcoin by computers that performs complex computing. MGT announced on June 23rd , that the company completed an agreement with Bit5ive LLC to purchase 60 graphics-processor-based computer , which will be used to mine Ethereum by the firm. 

“We are more convinced each day of the growth and value of digital currencies, and our company is uniquely positioned to be a leading provider of processing power to relevant blockchains,” McAfee said in a statement.

 On the contrary, McAfee stated earlier:

  “ No matter how much government and regulators may scream and complain, there will be a world standard alternative currency. Bitcoin appears to be the one… It cannot possibly bubble up"
