I would like to joining the #marketfriday this week😊 last time I posted about my shopping day in Jogja, @buckaroo suggest me to post it in the tag and then I decided to explore and find how amazing the information is. So, I started following @dswigle or Denise and here is my post for the #marketfriday😊
why spent your time going to the market in the city with hectic traffic jam, while the market is travelling around?
Well.. When I was a kid, I always love to accompany my mother going to the market to see the crowd and enjoy the interaction between buyers and sellers, beside I can learn how to make a good transaction and recognise good stuff to buy, especially fruits, vegetables and fishes. I still love to go to the traditional market if I could, but for the daily uses😉 the market is in front of my gate!
what do you need today?
The seller, Kang Jawirio has almost everything I need on his Moto-cart🍅, vegetables, ingredients, chips, fruits, salted fishes and of course cold fishes and chicken meat.

The menu for lunch is "sambal lado ikan" or fried fishes with chili sauces. So I asked him to clean the fishes for me, it would save my time to prepare the chili sauces.
Jawirio cleans the fishes and handed it for me, 12k IDR equal to 1 steem, when you bought fishes, he will include free lime for you
I already bought some vegetables 2 days ago, so I checked on the fruits. Ahaa.. he brings Zalacca or Salak and Star Fruits, but I choose Salak.
there are another fruits such as melon, banana, papaya and oranges too
In case you need another choices except fish and chicken meat, you can buy quill eggs ☺ and off course if you want to make steak from Tempe and tofu, he has it too.

And I finished my picks for today, Jawirio loves the plastic bag, though I told him many times that I don't need plastic bag to bring my shopping stuff inside, He keeps doing that while I get in to get the money for him.

Now.. I need to hurry up to the shop at the back of my kitchen, The chips seller is coming and He need me to pay for the chips and put another chips to sell in my shop.
He would come once a week to check on the chips or replace it with the new chips
Though our shop especially provides instant coffee and real coffee, we still sell other stuffs for our customers, our neighbours☺.

Thank you @denisechips😊 yes, the foods quite fresh and Nothing to worry about if you want different kind of vegetables or fishes as long as its available in the market, he would bring it if you put an order through text message or phone call.

MarketFriday is a challenge that I hold on Friday so that is when people post Thursday evening, Friday and sometimes Saturday. Once a week. I also love reading other things, a variety, so yes! That is what steemit is about!
I am in the Washington, DC area and it is 6am Friday morning.

What you've shown me is a full of fruit and vegetable market. But my favorites are eggs. I really like how it looks.
Yes @bluemoon😡😊 the moto-cartbof the vegetable seller contains more vegetables and fruits, this is not "real market" anyway and I like the eggs too.. but unfortunately, my husband and my father in law don't quite happy if I bought the eggs😂 thank you for the nice comments.

Nice show of door to door vendors isn't that just great and they have some of the best fruit and veggies cheaper then shops there is no 3rd party to pay. I do love my fruits and the Zalacca or Salak and Star Fruits are one of my favorite fruits here in Thailand.
I am originally from Australia but been living and working in Thailand for the past 8 years so i can relate to your carts coming to your front door as is the same here anything i need is all at my front door i just love it.

Thank you for your lovely comments @hangin 😊 for us who lives in Asia, this kind of travelling sellers are common and something not really special because we see it everyday, though we can order more fresh food directly to the farmer or fisherman and pay for the delivery man.
Since you've been living in Thai, fruits and vegetables are really fresh, good quality and various too, right? Something that I really like from this street vendor is I can order spesific things in case I need it by calling or send him text meassage.
You are certainly right we don't know how lucky we are don't have to jump into cars find parking at shopping centers so convinced for us in a lot of ways 😊
Not to mention the traffic hours and carrying the shopping back from place to place 😂 we live in mobile world now, we can put an order online and wait for our ordered stuff at home, but there is no interaction, that's why I still love going to the traditional market ... to enjoy the conversation between the transaction.

it's really very convenient to shop in this way. this guy has a great choice of goods !!!! I like that he is cleaning fish for you. I hate cleaning fish so it's done by my husband or the seller in the store where we buy it :))) but you should be very familiar with this seller in order to be sure of the quality of his merchandise. I also think that his prices are slightly higher than in the usual market. This is true? I did not understand what the second guy was doing. he checked something and replaced it. it's flat cakes or something else?
Well.. actually I love to clean the fishes myself because my mom taught me how when I was a kid😊 but sometimes I have so many things to do, so.. I need his help and sometimes he would cut the chicken meat for me too😊.
The only thing that I hate about waiting for this man is when he reaches my gate, half of the best things already sold out and I have to use anything available on his cart😔
Ahh the second man, he is refill the tin can with this crispy chips, we called it Kerupuk :the sound of the crack when we bite it😊 and I don't know other word for it except chips😂
So, this man is riding a motorbike with 2 big can container full of chips from one to another shops to put his chips and will cone back every week or every two weeks to collect the money and refill the tin can or replace the unsold chips with new chips.

That is a great idea to have the market come to you. Saves all the work and traffic and they prepare the fish too. Brilliant. :-)
Well.. that's how the urban area people live😊 though we have the traditional market and modern market like mall around, waiting for the vegetables seller with his moto-cart or pushing-cart, really save the day😆

Hello there @rudyardcatling😉 thanks for reminding me about the theology comparative things 😊 I almost forgot about it. It's been a month Life in the shop drain s my energy even though I still have heard abd discusd about it with the customers sometimes. Well.. hope that I can comeback with that soon, wish me luck 😆
