Homemade Peanut Butter Cookies with Hershey kisses 

Hello steemits, I just made some Peanut butter cookies for my family.   I been wanting to make these cookies and I finally did.  I got the hershey kisses on clearance the day after Valentines day.  I hope you will enjoy the recipe and try some for yourself.  The peanut butter cookies was very soft, chewy, and delicious. 

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup of peanut butter
• 1/2 cup of brown sugar
• 1/3 cup of  sugar
• 1/2 cup of butter
• 1 egg
• 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions

Using a large mixing bowl, mix the brown sugar, sugar, peanut butter, and butter until the ingredients is creamy.

I used Jiff Omega -3 peanut butter; it is really smooth and creamy. 

When the ingredients is smooth and creamy, add the egg in the ingredients and mix constantly. 

Add the baking powder, baking soda, and the vanilla to the ingredients. Next, stir in the flour. 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  When the ingredients is all stirred, form balls with the batter and place them on a cookie sheet. Using a fork make a pattern on the cookies.  You do not have to use the fork pattern if you are using hershey kisses in the middle of the cookies.  Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes.  

 If you are using hershey kisses in the cookies.  When the cookies are a more than halfway baked, add the hershey kiss to the middle of the cookies.

Let the cookies cool for about 15 minutes then they are ready to serve.  The recipe makes 2 dozen cookies. I hope you enjoyed my post.  If you like my posts, you can follow me @christir
