Others, on the other hand, believe they are original because they supposedly have God in their lives, because they congregate in a church x days of the week, because they pray every day, because they read the Bible and even know it by heart.
Others, make the decision to believe only in them and what they can do according to their own abilities, their originality is to act and be according to their own convictions; that in the end they are not so proper because from somewhere they had to leave, these convictions are the result of something or someone who initiated them. Where is originality then?
There are so many lifestyles created by the same man! Multiplicity is gaining strength in our environment and the sad part of all this is that they are lifestyles based always on having, knowing and doing, but where is the Being? God created us as tripartite beings, with a body, a soul and a spirit; and apparently now we are focused only on feeding the body and the soul; but the spirit that is what gives us identity of who we really are, we leave it aside.
I am not trying to say with all this that it is bad to know and have, of course not, God is interested in seeing us satisfied in all aspects of our life; But what really matters to Him is that we should walk in love and for us to walk in love obviously it is necessary to look for Him, to gather, to pray, to read the Bible, etc. but besides this, it is that we live by the Spirit so that all the good fruits we need to live in love can come out of him.
How many people still knowing of God have their hearts filled with bitterness and lack of forgiveness, how many people still knowing of God are still immersed in sin, how many people still knowing God hold grudges, jealousy and envy in their hearts. Where is the originality, where is the difference? If this is the way we relate to God, there is nothing different from what the world offers us daily.
It is useless to know the Lord unless we love him and if in reality we love him with all certainty we will love ourselves and we will love others, we will live in love.
"Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is similar: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22: 37-39 (King James Version 1995).
God does not care how much we know about Him, how many times we go to church, how many times we pray, how many times we read the Bible; He is interested in what is in our heart and the sadness of the society in which we are currently living, is that very few people have it in their hearts and God is waiting for those who boast of having it in our lives and to know about Him, let's do something so that those who do not have it yet can know, love and enjoy it. The love of God in our lives is manifested in the desire to reach others for Him, manifested in the desire that others who are so in need of his love may experience how wonderful it is to feel loved by Him.
Look around you, close to you there may be someone who is waiting for you to talk to him about the Lord, maybe someone who is close to you is thinking that his life is meaningless, maybe, close to you there is someone who feels lonely, sad And disillusioned, what are you waiting for? You have love in your heart and it is not just any love, it is God's love and He wants you to share it with those who need it.
What really matters to the Lord is that we live in Love!
