DTUBE NOTICED ME! (Uncut #15)
What's up Dtube?
Yesterday's video got noticed by dtube and they upvoted my content which really sent me over the moon. Now, this has happened before where a major player on the platform has upvoted my content. But the one thing I have learned from it is that it doesn't necessarily mean that if I continue doing that, dtube will consistently upvote me. Dtube has thousands of videos being uploaded constantly so maybe it was straight luck that I got selected from Dtube.
Making content that you enjoy
Many people (including myself) feel that when someone that large upvotes your content, you should tailor your content to their needs. Not necessarily though. If you don't enjoy that content and you aren't consistently getting the revenue you believe to get, why are you making yourself miserable? We should be making content that we enjoy that is also entertaining to others. If big names notice it, that's awesome! But if no one notices, you would at least have one fan: yourself. You need to believe and be satisfied with the content you put out. It doesn't mean you won't grow as a creator. It just means that your content will always have at least one fan.

I've seen people get huge upvotes from Dtube before! I know they just seek out great content.
If you start catering to the masses, this will start becoming a job - if that is your intention and makes you happy, awesome. But if you continue to create things that fulfill you, that will leave you with something that is much greater than money. You will be honest to who you are, what your passions and desires are and that's the truest kind of value that you could be creating. When you are resonating deeply with your own path, everything else will fall into place. Keep it up. 💚

Great mindset, Chrispy. I love a good dtube upvote but the beauty of not having that big upvote is seeing who still upvotes you when dtube doesn't.
