Poetry: Nightmare
Inside a horrible dream.
A dream that'll suddenly
Wake me up so horribly.
Leaving me without heat.
Those nights are the worse,
Making me feel like a dead horse.
Surely there are ways to resist?
Like many I wanted a pleasant dream,
And not leave my body without steam.
Hopefully I won't be shaken to the core.
Please don't let me wake up screaming.
Instead leave me pleasantly dreaming.
