Color Challenge--Thursday Green--Cacti Pricks

Great Green day to you Steem. Today I am dropping some photos of different desert cacti. I wish I would've had some sort of book with me on this trip so I could've learned what they all were. Instead, like the mature adult that I am, I referred to them all as pricks! Joleen and I would be driving through the desert, and I would say something like "loads of pricks out there!". It didn't help that Joleen got a bunch of cactus barbs stuck in her foot--probably when we started calling them pricks. I heard her call my name from the bushes, asking me to bring scissors. I run over there and she has this small cactus with huge barbs stuck in her foot in multiple locations! After carefully cutting them off she hobbled back to the van where I had to pull them out with pliers! Little pricks indeed!
