Silver

Just sharing one of my favorite paintings of all time, this one worked out so well. I used stencils and screen-printing on a 24"x30" canvas.
I went for the silver certificate note as there is a conceptual link to the word silver as it was redeemable for silver as who wanted to carry those beautiful coins around and wear out their pockets. I have been involved in the conversation around honest money since 2008 as I literally saw the system fail honest hard working people. It was my wake up call as it pertains to the monetary system. I am an artist that has a background in banking, I used to be a lender and I can tell you most bankers don't even understand how the system works as they have been converted into sales people rather than educators.
