It all starts with a tight drawing for me, so I make sure everything is perfectly in place. This one is about the Sun, the star that gives light, life and higher consciousness to our planet. But it’s really about God, the creator of all we know and don’t. As the ancient Incas and Egyptians, I use the sun as a symbol of the one God which is owned by no culture and inside all of our hearts and pretty much all of reality seen n unseen.
You might have seen him checking stuff from above in different paintings of mine, but this painting will focus on him/her/it. I felt it was the perfect time to do this long awaited archetype, as we are in middle of a hot summer and also in Leo season, which is related to the sun. I am also currently having a love affair with a sweet Leo who paints suns, @molassess_ , and who’s shared a lot of her sweet light with me. So the urge to express this important icon was irresistible! Can’t wait to colour it and maybe get it tattooed on me too!

Whoa that is a tight drawing. I'd never have the patience nor dexterity to make such precise lines, I'm a dab hand at scribbles and far too impatient for precise, but I LOVE this.
