Travel Story #2: Indonesia, Amed, Diving In A Japanese Shipwreck! by chrisadventures
From all over the world people come to Bali, Indonesia for different reasons. One of these reasons is the access to amazing diving spots. Amed, a small town on the north-eastern side of Bali, is known for its shipwreck dive spot. Just off the black beach in Lipah Bay, the shipwreck is located in shallow water. There was I, 15 meters below surface, diving in an old Japanese Shipwreck. The dive instructor told me he had even seen a Tiger Sharks in these waters. We did see sea snakes, eels, barracudas and all sorts of beautiful coral. The last eruption of Volcano Agung, the holy volcano on Bali, pushed this shipwreck from the shore into the water. It has been down there for over fifty years!
"Great Post!"
Be awesome steem on!
thank you @deveerei! :-)
You're welcome!
That must have been amazing. How deep do you want to go?
To go deep will probably give you a thrill but before then you need to get some good diving skills. I believe the normal PADI allows you to go 15 meters deep and the advanced one 25 meters. Before then, I will not be able to go deep at all. And luckily I don't have to go deep to see sharks, rays, etc. :-)
Respect you bro. Beautiful journey, great photos
