Ripple is Not a Currency

We are beginning to see divergence in the crypto markets, with a few select coins. Ripple XRP being one of them.

Even though the CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, stated during the Yahoo Finance Summit on 7th Feb that his own coin (XRP) was not a currency and nor does he believe any of the coins in existence are currencies, he did confirm that some of them offer investors a new form of digital asset.
