Cannabis producer buys California town of Nipton
As reported on Bloomberg a Tempe Arizona company has purchased a small gold rush town in California, an hour from Las Vegas, to create a destination resort town centered around cannabis. The town with a current population of 20 people was purchased for 5 million dollars and the company, American Green Inc., plans to invest another 2.5 million dollars over the next 18 months. They plan to use renewable energy for all new construction, setting an example for all those sure to follow. Cannabis industry experts see the cannabis related travel sector to out pace wine travel industry in coming years. While many in the cannabis industry are holding back waiting to see what the Trump administration will do, American Green is hoping for the best and moving forward.
American Green Inc. Is a publicly traded company whose shares can be bought for under a dollar currently. If I knew anything about investing I might give them a try.
