Back in Oregon ~ Walk with me
Arrived back in Lane County today to a typical winter day in the temperate rain forests of the coast. After three months in the desert my eyes are soaking in the green.
We are “moochdocking” (parking in a family or friends driveway) at our families house. Since they haven’t gotten home from work yet we are walking their two young labs.
I don’t know how long we will be able to handle the weather, we’ll see. We may head back down to Arizona or even Mexico.
One can’t deny the beauty though. Life thrives here, but after 12 years living in Hawaii, we aren’t sure if we can.
The cannabis grow game is getting really complicated and regulated and I don’t want to contribute to the beast system with taxes. I don’t know if it’s worth it anymore.
Acapulco is looking really good. With its growing ancap community, cheap cost of living, and general freedom, all combined with world class tropical climate, we feel drawn there.

Beautiful! It looks like fairy land! 😍 Is it just too wet and cold to be there after Hawaii and the desert? I can understand that. Especially if the rumor of "it rains all the time and there is no sun" is true. However- It's looks so magical that fairies must be there. Acapulco is definitely a lovely place too. Fairies yes, they are. And the sun does shine, but the winters are so long and grey. I don’t mind it, but my better half gets really depressed. Thanks for checking it out.
Yeah- That is a big deal. I understand about getting depressed when there are long periods (I mean 4 days to a week) of cloudy, gray, no sun skies... Y'all can't stay there. It seems that Acapulco would be a great fit because there is sun and all of the green too. Have a great day! (Hopefully there is some sun today over there.)

I saw that you shared a zero hedge article. Just wanted to let you know that's not the real zero hedge, it's a dude that copy and pastes the articles and makes a killing off of it. He admits it if you look at his page, he says he deserves the rewards because he formats the articles for steemit. It was the center of a flag war a long time ago but I guess everyone gave up. I thought it was really zero hedge at first, and was disappointed when I found that it wasn't so I just thought id mention it in case you weren't aware. Cheers!

No they don't. Not that I'm aware at least, but I'm pretty sure if they started one they would trend quickly. I love zero hedge though, I read them everyday.
