Poetry Series #3 - 👆I AM A SPORTSMAN👆

Once a sportsman, always a sportsman.

I ran my first race in sixth grade
Jumped to finish the race in first place
Received an duplicate medal of gold
Gold is gold fake or real i earned that with my blood.

I ran all the time don't know what to achieve
Lost some races won some races but race was there all the time
People said are you mad, you are running with your bare foot
They don't know what type of a sportsman i was.

I was and i am and i will be an true Sportsman
I know how difficult to be an true Sportsman
I know i am not going to get an career
But sports became part of my life.

I won races on big stages
But they said you are disqualified, without any reason
I think people underestimate the efforts of Sportsmen
You can disqualify me, but i still live as sportsman because once a sportsman, always a sportsman.
