Lightening Round ~ Tractable
Today's word of the day for December 13 is tractable.
Here's what I came up with.
He liked her the first time he laid eyes on her. Not the normal way a man liked a woman, but he liked her nonetheless. She gave him whatever he wanted, and more.
She was the obedient child, right from birth. She did whatever they wanted without complaint. She never objected, not when her parents sold her to him, to pay off the debt, they said. But one could only endure so much.
She had always been a tractable dog to him. Not that he was complaining. Smiling, he walked in. The last thing heard was a single scream.
