Greetings to you all steemians. Confident you all are doing great. Today I'm here to participate in this contest organised and composed by @benton3. The goal of this contest is to draw a cockroach and so in order to do this I would be disclosing my artwork step by step.

Before I would be begin I would like to invite @entity @wizzyboy3 and @goodybest to this contest. I really hope they would join and participate in this contest.

Let's start with the drawing
These are the tools I used in drawing:

1. A sheet of paper
2. A pencil
3. An eraser.

Step 1

To draw the Cockroach I began from the head. Firstly I drew the two small hairs and then I drew it's head and then it's eyes as you can see below 👇

Step 2

After drawing it's head, my next focus was it's body and wings. After drawing it I shaded it and it looked like this 👇

Step 3

After drawing the body I had to draw the it's six legs. First I drew one leg in front, one in the middle and one at the back and there you have it a cockroach 👇

Facts on cockroach

In my own opinion I view a cockroach as the most disgusting insect in the world. But these insects may have some benefits to human beings and I'll mention a few:

1. Cockroaches help in recycling nutrients for example the may serve as food to a number of animals which helps in the development of the food chain.

2. Cockroaches help in decomposition of dead plants and fossils which plays an important role in degrading plant materials which gives the soil it's nutrients.

3. Cockroaches help to contain the spread of diseases. For example, it has been noted that a list of cockroaches are controlled to stop the spread of asthma, allergies and food contamination.

5. Corydiidae

In conclusion
