Let me give a brief overview about this design. Linphone is an amazing free open source video/audio/text application for smartphones and desktop. The original logo feels like something that is generic, so I wanted to create a logo that is more unique for the project, also clean and simplistic.

BENEFITS/IMPROVEMENTS

The benefit of this new logo to the project is that, the new logo looks and feels more unique than the original, which means better logo identity.

I made use of a the similar colour as the original so as to keep the same feel and colour consistency as the original

Conclusion

This logo design contribution was just pure creativity, there was no rule behind the design, and the aim was to create a new logo that looks more unique and has better identity for the project.
