Kin's Fall Apart
They grew up collectively like a cluster of trees in the rainforest. They bettered their lives, and tended each other's wounds. Their harmonious gatherings, a colourful sight to behold. Their radiant apparels, African violets - of many shades, basking in the early morning sun, with radiant smiles on their lively faces, was another glorious thing to think of. They savoured this earthly moments with their glowing hearts.
Tragic! They arrived in guise to survive, they came in herds, with their sun-tanned skinned animals. But, as peace loving cheerful primates, we welcomed them; gave bread, water, and vegetables, but 'stead of a good deed in return, they choose to relinquish us of our land.
Alongside, rooms were given to them to lay their gravel heads. Surprisingly, they became contemptible; greed lurked, in every corner of their hearts. They want to rule, they want to reign over us all, in a strange land, and terrorize we, its host. They cherish their flocks to us, dark skinned beauties. They began the bittersweet parade; the dawn of another era. Paupers bleed often, farmers were injured wholly, and the government are tanned over there, just seeing our tears - as it bleeds of red!
Our tears has been promised to be stopped, but what of the slaughter? They willful take lives?, like they had our cards in their hands, in a game of, the more kills, the more checks. Those monkeyed kings; apparelled in Agbadas, are seated nonchalantly watching the show from their conditioned offices, while these ones ,does the trade and stab.
The once beautiful Benue river is now a sorry sight to behold. Its red waters, flowing in deep seethed pain. "REAPERS" they are! They're shattering the heart of a once beautiful Benue. This is a bloody mess!
