Inside the world famous Mysore Palace
Mysore Palace is also known as Ambavilas palace. It is a three-story structure built between 1897-1912. The architectural style of domes of the palace is Indo-Saracenic with blends of the Hindu, Mughal, Rajput and Gothic.
It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India with more than 3 million visitors per year.
Recently during my Karnataka state tour, I also visited this beautiful place and captured some images of this palace from outside and inside.
Inside the palace, there are several major unique rooms including-
- The Diwan-e-aam, a public durbar
- The Ambavilasa, room used by the king as a hall for private audiences
- Doll’s Pavilion, a gallery of traditional dolls
- The Kalyana Mantapa, or marriage hall
- An armoury which contains arms used by the members of the royal family
There are twelve major Hindu temples inside the palace campus.

The captured pictures are sharp, focused and looks professional. I like the clicks very much and details provided in post. Thanks for sharing.
