30 days bike challenge: Day 2

Today on the 2nd day of my bike challenge when I was out for routine work, I was on a bicycle instead of my motorbike, Of course, it is somewhat time-consuming to ride on a bike but I was not in a hurry so time is not an issue for me.
After finishing my work I visited a pond (Nela Talab) situated about 5 km from my home. It was nice to see that migratory birds have arrived in our city as every year with the start of winter migratory birds arrive at various ponds and lakes nearby our city.

I was not carrying my telephoto lens so could not take the closeup of birds.

Today it was 1st time I went to the vegetable market on the bike and I could access directly to the vendor as in case of motorbike have to park and go by walk, this is an advantage of a bike.

While returning to the home I visited my friend and he was surprised to see me on a bicycle. Not only he but most of the known and unknown person was watching me with attention as biking is almost has become out of fashion at our place and I hardly could find 10 people riding on a bicycle today. One thing I observed that people want to ride on a bike but have a lot of excuses. I am sure if I will ride on a bike regularly more people will encourage to ride a bike.
