"Fall Trees"

Painted on location in my backyard in Taos, New Mexico.

This was my view out my kitchen window. It had already snowed in the Sangre de Cristo mountains in the background creating snowcapped peaks.

One day, I took it as a challenge to capture on canvas the pattern of colors of the golden yellow interlocking with the cool blues of the mountains and sky.

I hope you enjoy seeing this painting.
