A dream would never be put in your heart if God had not yet given you everything you need to fulfill/accomplish it. Who told you you're too small or you aren't intelligent, or have the necessary talent? What they said or think about you does not change what God has implanted in you, don't let negative words and attitudes take root and keep you from pressing forward.

I read of a minister who handed a man a twenty-dollar bill and asked him to tuck it secretly in his wife's Bible. "Ensure she doesn't see you do it" he emphasized. Later during the sermon, the minister asked the woman to stand up. "Do you trust me ma'am?" he asked.
"Yes of course," she replied.
"Will you do what I ask you to do? "
"Yes, I will," she replied.
"Good, then please open your Bible, and give me the twenty-dollar bill inside."
The woman cringed, and she said, oh, I'm sorry. I don't have a twenty-dollar bill. "
"I thought that you said you trusted me?" the minister asked with feigned incredulity.
"Yes I do," the woman replied.
"Then please open your Bible and give me the twenty-dollar bill."
The woman opened her Bible reluctantly and to her utmost surprise, she discovered a twenty-dollar bill within the pages. Her eyes brightened as she looked at the minister and asked, "But how did it get there?"
"I gave it to you and now I am simply asking you to draw out there gift I have already given, and use that twenty-dollar for something good."

God will never ask you for something without first depositing it within you but you just need to take the step of faith and if you do you will discover limitless gifts inside that you never realized were there before . Don't let the size of your dream intimidate you. If other people don't want to believe for better things in their life then fine but don't let that keep you from believing. Keep your dreams alive and burning, never give up on you. You're the best that you can be.
