My Random Photography: Tricycles - a popular, cheap, fast and accessible means of transportation anywhere in the Philippines

If you are foreigner and planning to visit the Philippines you should try to ride this kind of transportation.

They are affordable and fast. But they are not immune to traffic if you are going through roads with high volume of traffic.

But they can't travel very long distance because of the restriction in their franchise license. If you plan to travel long distance you should take a taxi instead.
