RE: Is Meekness a Weakness? -From Meekness Comes gratitude - Enjoy with Troy!
This is so true. Catch more bees with honey. God says no good deed goes unpaid, but the deeds that are paid back by others or even by a thank you, has no more debt with what God promises to pay us back for our deed. He tells us to do these things in secret, and do not boast. Likewise He says vengeance is mine as well. He says if we seek our own revenge from our enemies, that it will be as we can do, but, He says if we forgive them then we heap coals on their heads and God will avenge us better than we could personally have done. Including letting ourselves heal mentally from whatever thst enemy did. In all truth the meek are the strong, they know where their reward is and they can only pray we all find our way. My momma was that kind. She was the kindest person I ever met. She did get walked on at times. I too thought that was a weakness of hers. But I realized she was the best example I could ever have had. I have struggled with being so passive that it is often taken great advantage of, but I do not so much mind, when I feel like I can help someone somehow. And I forgive everyday those enemies that would otherwise turn my soft heart to stone. Sorry for carrying on, just touched me a bit, your great post. Thank you for the read.
