Welcome to My Town - Downtown Frederick, MD
It's a warm 90*F day here in downtown Frederick, Maryland. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the scenery and snapping some photos to share with you all.
Perhaps one of my favorite places is this scenic walkway alongside a waterway. It's not deep you can see the bottom and there are tons of beatiful koi, carp, and blue gill fish (which are hard to capture on camera). Today I got exceptionally lucky when this beatiful bird decided to grace the waterway.
There are many pretty plants growing in the waterway as well.
And, of course there are some varieties of ducks to include this shy and/or sleepy mallard:
And these interesting white variant ducks:
Over the waterway are a few cool bridges with nice architecture like this one:
Some neat art along the walls near one of the bridges (this is flat not concave, cool huh? )
