WHO PAYS STEEMIT ..? (My Experience with Steemit)

With so many social networks that exist and are currently emerging, when for some reason we learned that Steemit exists and we decided to make contact with it, many doubts arise that can get to worry us and even disappoint us and that if it were not because we have reported that we can have the possibility of some remuneration for the value that the content acquires, we should not continue trying. Some of these doubts, which may be identified with me, may be:

How do I register and why is not this registration immediate?
I can have Followers and Followed as in Twitter but I can also Vote for a post as in Facebook with the "Like". What is the difference in this new network?
Why when I publish something does anyone comment and much less vote for my publication ..?
Why do some payments generate me some votes and others not ...?
Why do I see some $ in my publications but they are not reflected in my digital portfolio ..?
Why when I change my wages to the dollar the amount increases ..?
What are Steem Dolar and Steem Power ..?
What is that of the Robot or Bot and how do I use them?
Is it legal or ethical to use these Robots?
Is the operation of Steemit so complicated?
And the biggest question: Where does the money come from?

He interest in forming part and staying in this network forces us to investigate and spend a few hours reading or watching videos. A good way to learn is by personally consulting those who already have experience in its use and permanence in it. We also know that as the days go by we are experiencing and understanding what all this is about and most of these questions are finding their answers. But even when some do not care or downplay it, there is a doubt that many of us keep or that is not very clear, this is:
WHERE IS THE MONEY THAT IS USED TO REWARD TO ALL OF US WHO ARE PART OF THIS NETWORK?
And I'm not talking about how we produce it, but about who receives it, Steemit.

I have been able to listen and see some answers that could be approached to clarify this doubt as the law in the Blog @ fakj94 "Steemit is worth money for the same reason that any other page is worth, the traffic that manages ...". Also a friend that "commented how this social network is in its beta version, someone must be investing for its development". Another friend said that "the photographs and other content have value and possibly a large data base is being created with them".
