How Much Runescape Gold Sellers Make
I recently talked to a big Runescape gold seller who chose to remain undisclosed. I asked him a couple of questions about selling gold and how much he makes daily.
To my surprise, the big sharks of Runescape gold sellers make a quite decent amount of money.
They profit from $0.20 to $0.30 from 1 million coins.
Lets say they get their daily supply of gold for $0.90 per million coins.
On a bad day, they tend to sell from 200 to 400 million coins, which is roughly from $50 to $100.
On a good day, they sell from 500 to 1500 million coins, which is around $125 to $375 daily.
That sounds pretty nice for selling some pixels!
However, selling Runescape gold is not that easy. There are many downsides to the business.
They hold big amounts of coins in their accounts while always risking to get banned for trading the gold. This does not happen often, as said by the gold seller, but it happens once in a while and can hurt the business. Not only does one account get banned, but there is a chance to get chain banned on different accounts which hold the gold.
Getting started is hard too. There is a lot of competition and it really requires a lot of patience at first. Most sellers start on forums where they sell cheaper gold compared to the wolves of gold sellers.
