You can never run out of ideas, not really
This probably applies to any achievement in life. But, the bigger the achievement, the bigger the effect, the return to sober. We win something extraordinary, we get recognized for something amazing, and the hype, the high, is almost indescribable. The way down, the way down is very ugly.
This also could be one of the reasons why some avoid success. Think about that for a second, if you where to win something great, sell your best painting, sell your best song to an artist, you might have to face the scariest of questions. What's next?
I certainly have experienced this myself. I've worked on a production day and night, saw it come to life become something memorable and then almost immediately feel the fear of never being able to do something as good ever again. Why? Why would I fear the best was spent?
I guess that is the point of this short reflection, because I know there is quite a few creative minds that fear losing their spark. They fear achieving heights they will never achieve again. If you are holding this ideas in your head, if you are fearing achieving too much, using your last good bullet sort of speak. I'm here to tell you that fear is a lie. No such thing.
A creative mind, needs to create, hungers it. To think that ideas can be spent, as if it was a chess with limited richness is to think that your life experiences have ceased to happen. Does that make sense? Not at all, the mind that creates today is not the same one that will create tomorrow. Just with that fact, you can know you will always have something to contribute, something to say.
I certainly do, and some say, I talk a lot... but that is for another conversation.
Very true. This is something I've struggled with my entire life as a musician. I worry about reaching for the stars for many reasons: failing, the work that may be involved to achieve the goal, and, as you say, for fear of never succeeding again. I'm starting to feel the effects of limiting myself much more pertinently as I grow older. It's time to make a change there, but that's easier said than done. I wish you luck in all you undertake, and I hope you wish the same for me:) It's great to have a musician buddy here who thinks like me. Have a great day!
thats the right attitude!
Creativity, the more you demand it, the more I imagine it with a pumping system. It never ends, nothing repeats the same, before something great something even bigger can come, the important thing is to never stop dreaming and those who have achieved success, enjoy their fortune, thank them and wait for what follows that will be even better. I really liked this post. Greetings.
Hello! really liked your post, very interesting. I think that creation is like exercising, you have to stay creative and ideas will always change over time, you can not let them die or allow them to be paralyzed.
I believe that in life we are the ones who set limits. (Forgive my English because I do not speak that language, I used the translator.) Excellent publication.
I agree with this as a lot of people are afraid to rise to stardom because of the fear of coming down or not being consistent. The what next question is really inevitable that's why in whatever stage we find ourselves whether high or low, we must never rest on our laurels and must learn always do more. When success becomes an habit, we cast away all fears.
Your post is very true @chbartist.
great post and full of meanings @chbsrtist. We must dare to try, there will be no success if afraid to start. Thank you @chbartist
