Windermere
Windermere, Lake District. One of my favourite places, a hikers paradise with great vistas at every turn. Lakes, tarns, fells and wainwrights it has it all. Rain or shine it’s a special place but when the sun comes out, wow.

Hi Jarvis, thanks for your comment. It was a weeks visit to Ambleside just a mile away from Windermere. We used to walk down to waters edge every evening to enjoy the sunsets before heading back to Ambleside for a beer.
Very cool. I was more focused on Scotland last time I was in the area. But i heard that the lake district was an awesome place for photography.
Definitely both are scenic joys worth visiting.
