We had some great guests and interesting personalities at the weekly APPICS MEETUP!

What this has to do with this picture of @lonistellina and me you can surely guess. 💡

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how @lonistellina and I met and this friendship was born.

@lonistellina and I met on Crete.

We were both invited to a big wedding.
On the day before the wedding there was a private party in a stunning location.
There were a lot of people dancing and celebrating.
During the course of the evening, Lonistellina and I passed each other a few times.

I noticed that she is my age and obviously does not come from Greece.
She had extremely high shoes on, and could also walk perfectly on them !
At a later time, I was sitting alone at a table to rest from dancing. Opposite of me at another table sat Lonistellina.

• also alone. We smiled at each other.
  The next time we passed each other at the party I stopped her and told her: "Hey, I just wanted to tell you that your shoes are really nice and I wonder how you manage to walk on them all the time"
• What followed were hours of conversations until early in morning.
  We spent a few more days together.

Lonistellina loves Hamburg (my home town) and she visited me when I was in Germany.
Until today we are happy that she put on these shoes !
