Although I have never been to the philippines, but I have always loved and admired them. The people are beautiful from their economy, to their food and beautiful tourist centres, everything about them is simply amazing.

REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
Officially the republic of the philippines is a unitary sovereign country in southeast Asia.

Situated in western Pacific ocean, it consist of about 7,641 islands that are categorised broadly under three main geographical division from North to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The capital city of the Philippines is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon city, both part of Metro Manila.
Bounded by the south china sea on the west, the Philippine sea on the east and the Celebes sea on the southwest.
The Philippine share maritime borders with Taiwan to the north, Vietnam to the west, Palau to the east and Malaysia and Indonesia to the south.

THE ECONOMY OF THE PHILIPPINES
The economy of the philippines is the world's 34th largest economy by nominal GDP. According to the
2017 estimate of the international monetary funds statistics, it's the 13th largest economy in Asia, and the 3rd largest economy in the (ASEAN) after Indonesia and Thailand.

The Philippines is one of the emerging markets and is sixth richest in southeast Asia by GDP PER CAPITA value, after the regional countries of Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

PHILIPPINES FOOD
For many non-filipinos who aren't familiar with the philippines, the look and taste of piony food is difficult to pinpoint.

Philippine cuisine is unlike other Asia cuisines, like Chinese and Japanese where foodies can associate specific tastes with the culture.

But even among the Filipinos, they find it difficult to describe their food unless they are talking about popular dishes like Adobo, Pinakbet, singing and Halo-halo.

LANGUAGES OF THE PHILIPPINES
There are some 120-187 languages and dialects in philippines, depending on classification.
Almost all are Malayo-Polynesian language, whereas one, chavacano is a Creole derived from Spanish, a romance language.

Two, English and Filipino, are Official, while nineteen (as of 2017) are Official auxiliary language speaker.

Generally there are more speakers of Filipino than English in philippines.
