Three tips that wil make you triumph in the business of photography:

Invest in yourself:
Register for conferences And go for lots of trainings not just in photography even in other fields because if you do not know the settings of the camera or light you won't be able to hold it or even use it.
Build yourself and skills and people will look for you. Believe me.

Create financial systems:
Make a list of what it will take for a photo shoot for example: The fuel, location of the shoot, transportation and the time to be spent working on the picture and then write down what it will cost for these things then put your own percentage into it before releasing the price out to your clients.
Know how long you want to use your camera and other equipments before changing them and make constructive financial planning that will make you change them within the period you have chosen.

Know your self worth:
I keep telling myself that in the nearest future not everybody will be able to book me not because i am expensive but because i know my worth and what i am capable of. Some photographers charge 500 naira per picture, some 2000
naira, some 5000 naira, some 20,000 naira, some a 100,000 naira and some even in dollars. I am not saying you should hike your price just like that but what i am saying is know your skillset and know why you are hiking your prices.
Please note this: Your brand of camera does not make you the best in photography but what you know and apply when using any camera.
