Is it technically feasible?
Could they make min SP payout 0.0001 instead of 0.001? Would we see an increase in activity among new users if their curation activity actually registers in their wallets? What do you think about that, or is it too demanding on hardware.
I guess Steemit is just hoping that new user would move of their 15 SP quite quickly so they can start earning the curation rewards. Add 0.0001 would probably add unnecessary stress to the hardware.
Yeah, I guess from a business standpoint it's to try and create an incentive to get people to increase their SP, and is a deterrent to 0.0001 SP network spam attacks.
