Presearch Sigh

So a while ago i wrote about losing the faith in some crypto projects. Well, today i lost a little more. Presearch is a crypto based search engine project that will reward you for searching on the platform. You still get to use Google or search on your favorite platforms directly through Presearch and you'll get rewarded for it.

The Good:

I like how convenient it is to search on multiple sites directly from Presearch itself. For example, you can search on Reddit or HackerNews on Presearch, rather than having to go to the sites directly. So, that's terribly convenient.

The Bad:

Things started out great but recently, they added some token eligibility nonsense that rates the 'quality' of your searches. Of course, for some unknown reason that they're not willing to disclose, my search quality isn't good and i've been getting one downgrade after another.

Now, i'm on level 6, having been on level 7 just a few weeks ago. This means that i only get to cash out 60% of my tokens. From what i've been reading on Reddit, i'm not the only one.

Overall

While the search functionality is great, it's hard not to feel scammed by the project. I'm still continuing to use it from time to time but for anyone considering whether to sign up for it, i'd advise them not to. Trust is important and these guys have violated it.
