The river in this place does not freeze even in winter, because of the springs spurting from the bottom. A place for swimming under a very insidious, it is better not to try, and go a little further to the beach.
Legend has it that in this place from the bottom of the Volga beat seven cold keys, which with their whirlpool easily overturn boats. And that once upon a time, seven mermaids appeared here at night, who lured travelers and fishermen into the caves ... But once heard a mermaid of a holy elder and cursed the place. At the same time, the coast settled with caves, mermaids disappeared and thick fog fell over the bay.
