My performance in Khmer 25th years Anniversary party of Cambodian people in Nederland.

Two days ago on 5 November 2016 me and my family went to the 25th years Anniversary party. I was very happy that my famliy could be there for me,when I performed with my band in Breda, Netherland.

This time it was really different then in Belgium. The organizers did a really good job. They had many different activities, not only for the old people and adults, but also for the children.

The most important for me was that, they were really friendly and they made really great food and everybody was eating together like one big family.

Me, my family and my team we had a really great time with those friendly people. When I sang a romantic song in a khmer party in Belgium, the people over there were very busy with eating and not really listening to my song.
This time I sang a romantic song again in this 25th Anniversary party. Everybody was also eating but they did also listen to my song. They even clapped their hands. That made me feel great.

After I sang five songs, one of the organizers called us to join food with them. That was a nice welcome, because we were really hungry.
I'm very proud of the people who organised this 25th anniversary for their parents. They made a really nice speech.

The speech was about their parents, who when Cambodia was in war, had to fled the country, and went to Keo I Dang in Thailand. How hard and how difficult it was for the parents to keep their children safe. When I heard about that I had to think about my two older brothers and two older sisters who didn't survive the war. So at that time I couldn't stop my tears. This was a special moment this evening. How really lucky we are that we all survived from the war.

Now turn back to something less sad. They had also the Khmer traditional dance from the group of children. It was great to see the different beautiful colours of their dresses.

At nine o clock I went back on stage. Many people started to dance. Most of the dancers were girls not many men. That was really funny. Too bad that I couldn't make any film, because I had to sing. I just got some video from the people who were at the party. It is not really good quality, but better then nothing.
