Steem greetings to everyone and special greetings to my POD family. It is another week for me to share with everyone my report of activities from the 14th to 20th of November 2022.

It was a busy week for me given the fact that I had a lot of personal work coupled with work on the Steemit platform. Notwithstanding, I was able to switch between my work and activities on the platform. At the end of the week, I was able to meet up with my expectations even though I faced some challenges.

My activities were focused on MOD and plagiarism activities within the steem-cameroon community, curation with SC08 account, continued promoting content via the steem-cameroon Twitter account, creating content, and supporting other content creators on the platform.

My Activities As MOD and Plagiarism Leader in the Steem-Cameroon Community.

As MOD in the steem-cameroon community, part of my duty is to review content posted in the community to make sure users respect both Steemit rules and community rules. This week the number of active posters was at 54, but we hope more users will prioritize posting quality content as the year gradually comes to an end.

In a way to make users create good content, we hosted several contests to allow users to create different content based on the themes of the contests organized.

The following are contests currently hosted in the steem-cameroon community.

We hope that the juicy contest prices will attract new content creators into posting in the steem-cameroon community.

I reviewed content posted within the steem-cameroon community. The essence of the review is to make sure that users fully respect Steemit rules and community regulations. I noticed some inactive users who came back but misused tags. I had to guide them by commenting to ensure they respect the rules, especially the use of club status tags.

Each day was an opportunity for me as a plagiarism leader to run plagiarism tests on all content posted especially those not yet reviewed by other mods and admins. No plagiarised content was recorded. This is to show that users are now more conscious of posting plagiarised content.

Used Steem-Cameroon Twitter to Promote Steemit.

During this period, l used the community Twitter account to tweet content from the community. The Twitter account is still to get more followers but we hope if everyone can follow, retweet and like the tweets, then the account and steemit will trend. A single retweet, follow, and like from everyone is meaningful to us. Please everyone, kindly follow the link 👉🏽👉🏽 https://twitter.com/steem_cameroon to our community Twitter account.

Curation with SC08 Account.

This was the 3rd week of curation with team 5 using the SC08 account. So far, it has been an amazing experience I have gained for several months and I will wish to continue to do my best to support many content creators across many communities.

I strictly follow our team’s rules and curated a total of 28 articles, and 03 comments from different steemit users. The number of comments curated this week was small due to the absence of quality comments.

The table below shows a summary of statistics of my curation with SC08 account.

Amongst the posts curated, 11 were Club100, 4 were club75, and 13 club5050.

Creating Content and Supporting Other Users with @chant Account.

Just like in other weeks, I was committed to creating quality content on the platform. I created a total of 08 articles. I created 04 diary games, 02 engagement challenge entries, 01 contest, and 01 announcement of the previous week’s contest on emergency health care.

I used my effective SP of over 15k to support all content posted in the steem-cameroon community. I equally supported other content creators in other communities using the tag burnsteem25.

Over the week, I supported about 94 accounts and curated about 175 posts.

Specific Challenges Faced.

The following were the challenges I encountered during the week.

  • Poor internet connection: There were some days within the week when internet access was poor. I could not do otherwise but be patient until it stabilized.
  • Blackouts unannounced: this is a serious problem we faced each day. At times it is frustrating but we do not have any choice.

Future Plans.

  • Encourage Steemians to set post-payouts at 100% power up. This way we all grow our accounts and support each other with votes.
  • I will continue to support Cameroonians on Steemit.
  • Continue to use Twitter to promote steemit content.
  • Continue to guide new users and old inactive users on the platform.

Kind regards.
