Weekly Report of Activities (19th-25th September, 2022) as CR-Cameroon

Introduction

Greetings friends and welcome to another week of my weekly activities report. This report covers my activities from the 19th of September 2022 to the 25th of September 2022. These comprise MOD activities in the Steem-Cameroon community, curation with Steemcurator08, Guiding steemians on the platform, Steem growth activities, and Support quality content via upvotes.

Below I will give details of all the activities outlined above.

MOD Activities in the Steem-Cameroon Community.

The steem-Cameroon community was one of the 7 communities that hosted the steemit engagement challenge for 4 weeks. Each week has its challenges but I think the challenge was managed and run successfully. We held meetings online daily to trash out irregularities and carry out new modalities to easily managed the engagement challenge.

In total, we recorded a total number of 313 entries for the season 4 engagement challenge. Week 4 happens to have recorded the lowest number of entries even though it was interesting to watch steemians perform live music and uploaded it on either YouTube or DTube. This was another way of promoting steemit on other platforms.

Create Twitter Account for Steem-Cameroon.

We have also created a Twitter account for the Steem-Cameroon community. On the Twitter page, we tweeted quality content from the community. This is another way to promote steemit via tweets.

Review Posts and Recommended 08 links for Booming Support.

I reviewed articles on the community daily due to the engagement entries in the community.

Notwithstanding, Fridays are my curation day in the community using the community account. I had to first review articles, select quality content, and recommended booming support.

My Curation Activities Using Steemcurator08 Account.

It was week 3 of curation with team 5 using the Steemcurator08 account. My curation day was on Monday 19th September 2022. As a requirement for an article to qualify to be voted with the SC08 account, I needed to check if the user is respecting rules such as following club status, not plagiarised, not using vote buying services and if the user is not cross-posting the same content on other platforms.

Curation and Creation of Articles with Account.

I used my account daily to support good content creators in the Steem-Cameroon community.

During this week, I upvoted a total of 188 articles and 112 accounts were reviewed.

I created a total of 09 articles for this week. I actively participated in the engagement challenge and created 2 entries in the Steemit travel community and recreative Steem community. I commented on others content and replied all comments on my posts.

Total Steem Powered Up.

I continued to maintain my Club100 status since March 2022. All my posts were setup at 100 % power up.

Guiding Newbies.

I was committed in guiding newbies on how to create quality content on the platform. Despite my busy schedule, I created some time to guide my newbies but it is unfortunate that for the whole of last week non of them created content on the platform. The guiding of newbies was still done online this week despite them pleading for a physical meet-up because I was not chanced to meet them physically.
