THE DIARY GAME 3: 21/01/2021

Hello dear steemians, accept warm greetings from this end. The end of the week is approaching and we can't wait for weekend to rest, relaxed,visit love ones, and some people vacation for a weekend is just what they want to relieved stressful work week 😜😜😜. For me, it's going to be either of the aforementioned. I have to busy over the weekend, with house chores and the kids.

Nonetheless, it's always a good one though as I have time to follow up my kids, play with them, and assist my daughter with her studies. Today, I got up from bed at 5:45am, did my morning meditation before heading to the kitchen (power house) to prepare breakfast for the family.

My daughter loves potatoe chips with omlet. So, I had to peel the potatoes, and cut them in to smaller pieces. This will ease the frying process and equally save time. I salt the potatoes while poured oil in the frying pan on the cooker.

While I was doing that, my son was sleeping. I always used the morning hours to do a lot of house chores before my son wakes up from bed. It took me 30minutes to prepare the breakfast. I had to prepare fried beans and rice for lunch.

Immidiately my husband and daughter left the house to work and school respectively, I had to rush to a nearby store to get spices to prepare the lunch.

When I came back home, I had to prepare the spices and blend them with a blender. I had to hurry as by 12:00 noon, electricity rationing begins till 6:00pm.

By the time I finished blending the spices, my son got up. I had to stop and bath him, feed him and placed him on the carpet. He loves soccer, though as young as he is. I switched on the TV and replay of Cameroon past match was going on. I went back to the kitchen and continued with my cooking.

It took me almost 2 hours to complete the cooking. I couldn't wait to take a shower and relaxed. After taking my shower,I realized I was feeling cold, I had to put on my house coat and lay down on the caouch.

Thanks to the African Championship soccer game, electricity rationing time has been reduced. Today it came back at 4:00pm. I could not hesitate to switch on the TV and watch the game. The first game of the day was between Lybia Vs Democratic Republic of Congo. I wish Lybia win the game, but it did not work as anticipated. I was not happy with the referee because time was over for the game and he did not blow the final whistle. The additional 33 seconds he added made DRC to equalize the game.

This lone act of the referee, made DRC players who were already demoralized to get up from their seats, joined the fans on the pitch, and celebrate with some dance moves.

The second game was between Niger and Republic of Congo. I had equally wished Niger goes back home with victory. But it equally ended up not as anticipated. Even though Niger had many opportunities to win the game. They had poor goalkeeper, weak defenders and weak attackers.

At the end of the matchmatch, you could see the frustration manifested by some of the players,crying prefusely on the pitch.

After the game, I was tired and decided to go to bed and call it a day. Thanks for reading my diary post.
