The Diary Game 3: [18/02/2023], Work, Shop and Cook.
Greetings great minds on the Steemit platform and welcome to my blog. It is another session with me sharing my daily routines with you all. It was a weekend for many across the world but a workday for me. Since Mondays are ghost towns imposed by separatist fighters in the English speaking section of Cameroon, Saturdays have gradually become workdays.
I woke up early to prepare myself for work while my kids were still in bed. I did my morning meditation exercises which helped me to be focused and achieve my goals for the day. I prepared noodles for breakfast for my kids but could not eat them. I went to my daughter's room to inform her I'm going to work and she should take the food and assist feed her brother. I left to work and arrived fresh and ready to face all my tasks for the day as early as possible.
By noon, I was done with my task for the day and had to go to the market and buy food items for the house. I went through my list and bought everything I had planned to buy. I took a cab back home and realised I had a failed bank transaction. I had to change my dresses and went to a nearby ATM to withdraw money from my visa card.
I came back home disappointed because I did not succeed to do the transaction and it was late and banks closed at 1:00 PM. I had to prepare one of our local meal (ogbono soup with garri). I washed my meat and boiled with cow skin. Season it to taste and mixed egussi and added. Later on, I added the grinded of ono, added crayfish, palm oil and okonghombong. I took 2 hours to prepare the soup.
By 3:00 PM, lunch was ready and I served food for everyone. @saxopedia came visiting and I dish his own food. My kids love this meal a lot. After eating, I arranged all h things I bought from the market and I noticed I did not buy things for tea. I took a bike to a nearby bakery to buy the things. I bought them and took a bike back home.
The things I bought at the bakery.
I came back home and my neighbour came to my house and we watched the news on national television and had some discussions on financial literacy. Later on, I had to take a warm bath and went to bed as I called it a day well spent.
