The Diary Game 3: 08/04/2022

Hello esteem steemians and happy weekend. This day was a busy and stressful day though ended up being joyful 😃. I have been having some issues with my bank account and have been going there throughout the week to rectify things but to no avail. The issue with the bank is that I issue an authorization letter to someone authorizing him to withdraw some money from my account worth about $1000. But when he went to withdraw, the bank refused to give him the money. The money was meant for him to carryout some work I assigned him to do. He is based in a different region. Today was already Friday and it will be impossible for him to do it over the weekend.

I got up from bed early to prepare the kids and myself to go back to the bank. My husband assisted with preparing our daughter for school as they are closing the second term for a two weeks vacation. I prepared my son by bathing him, dressed him up, and fed him. I took my bath, dressed up. We took breakfast together and my husband took our daughter to her school to collect her report card. I took a cab to town at the bank.

While at the bank, the queue was just another hour long of waiting for my turn. I took a seat and was thinking of another means to resolve my issues.

While waiting on the queue, I was praying my problems should be solved. My son was already tired of the stress and was sleeping. It was my turn to be attended to and the lady at the customer service unit was understanding, and immediately my issues were resolved.

I left the bank, and called my husband to asked what time my daughter’s school is closing. He told me they were to close at 12:00 noon but that activities are going on there. It’s been long I witness school closing activities such as dancing, singing , performing visual arts etc. So, I decided to stop by her school to see the kids dancing. Unfortunately, I arrived late due to traffic and I could not witness any of the activities.

The kids were already in the classes awaiting sharing of report cards. I went to my daughter’s class, took her report file from her class teacher and we came out to take some snap shots. While at the open ground, she was already tired and wanted to go back home to rest. It was not yet 12:00noon as y husband earlier said, so I called him back to inform him that we are done and heading back home.

We left her school to the house and we both were hungry. I had some leftovers in the refrigerator, I took it out and microwaved. We ate and took our siesta. We got up at 6:00pm, when my husband came back from work. That is how my day ended and I remain thankful.
