THE DIARY GAME 3: 04/12/2020

Hello steem world, it's another period of lockdowns in my city. We are forced to stay indoors and the streets ghosted. A four days ghost town has been organized by separatist to stop regional elections. What baffled me is that it's almost 5years now the Anglophone crisis turned in to an armed conflict.

First Strategy to Fight the military
So it all started with sticks, stones and peace plants. It later on evolved to using of dane guns. And today , you will see the separatist fighters moving around town with AK 47, parading some streets during lockdown.

Notwithstanding, the government on the other hand has always claimed that "everything is under control". Facts turned in to fictions, yes you heard me clearly. Things cannot be under control while schools are closed down in almost all rural communities, kids not able to go to school, hospitals and schools constantly under attacked, kidnappings rampant, rape, torture, inhumane and degrading treatment, and illegal detention etc.

Regional elections have been scheduled by the government as one of the measures to effective decentralization. According to the government, this measure amongst others will curbed the ongoing crisis. To the separatist, and other civil society activist, it is a cosmetic measure which will merely post pone the situation to relapse in future worst than what the country is experiencing.

What I keep asking is for these number of years, with the numerous ghost towns called by the separatist, what have we as a people gained?? To me the strategy has failed and they have equally failed to tackle the issues. The common man keep suffering while the rich continue to become richer.

After reflecting on the issues, I had to eat and relax. Yes oooh!!! After all we have to eat in order to keep body and soul together 🙂😅😅. After we ate, I had to play around with my kids.
