THE DIARY GAME 3: 03/12/2020

Hello steem world and especially the Cameroon community on steem. Today is another big day however, preparing for ghost town in my city. You know the feeling when you got up from bed and still pondering how to begin a new month without salary paid. That was the feeling I got up from bed and heading to the store to pick up some food stuffs to cook and everyone around keep informing me that ghost town will begin tomorrow till Tuesday.

I was confused and did not know what to do. We usually purchased enough food to keep at home because during lockdown, prices of basic commodities are skyrocketed. Some food dealers even create artificial shortage in the market in order to make more profits on smaller sales. My office still has not resolved issues plaguing my office and our salaries are still pending. My husband has gone to work and was not aware that lockdown is to start the next day.

Notwithstanding, I picked up the food items and came back home to cook. On my way to the house, I met my colleagues seating in a restaurant nearby. We spoke on some issues concerning our monthly reports and decided to schedule a meeting with our regional coordinator to program for a field work. Later, I came back home to cook before my son wakes up from sleep. Today was a good day for him and he was not naughty. It was a sleeping day for him.

I had to cook bitter leaves , with "egussi" and sweet potatoes. It took me about 1:30minutes to prepare the meal. I had to bath my son and myself before my daughter is back from school at 2:45pm. By 1:00, I was done cooking, was about to bath my son, my neighbor came in. I served her food and told her I'm about to bath the baby. She left with her food, and I continued with my son's shower. Immidiately I was finish bathing him, he was sleeping. I bath and decided to equally napped.

Before I knew it, it was 2:45 pm and my daughter was back from school. I served her food. I equally served food to my husband. They both ate together and he left back to his work place. I decided to go outdoor and relax.

I came back indoors when my kids were no more sleeping. They needed my attention. As I came in, we played for some minutes and my daughter asked for cartoon network. I connected it on her laptop, while she was watching, my husband came in. I had to serve dinner. We ate together and I decided to post my diary post. Thanks for reading.
