The Diary Game [18/01/2024] // Busy Day

Steem greetings @everyone on this amazing platform. I hope we are all waxing strong and healthy in our various locations. Permit me to share with you all my daily routines for the 18th day of January 2024. The month is fast running down and the feeling of a harsh January month is not harsh enough as compared to the previous January 😁hehehe.

This day was a workday but I'm still on leave my boss called me that we should meet up with a client and do some consultancy job. I had to prepare my kids for school and also prepare the newborn baby before leaving the house. My morning periods are so jam-packed with lots of chores to do and I had to start at 5:00 AM to catch up with time for the meetup with my boss.

When I arrived at the location, my boss was nowhere to be found. I sat there for almost 2 hours waiting and he did not show up. I tried calling him and he said that he had an emergency 🚨 and could not make it up to the meeting. He instructed me on what to do in case the client came. I always like to keep up with time and when I have an appointment with someone and I wait for too long, I become impatient. I decided to wait an extra 30 minutes and the client did not still show up.

It was already afternoon period, and I left and took a cab to a friends shop to buy my baby’s bathing. While in the shop, I saw a good pair of shoes for my three-year-old son which I bought. After buying the things I left the shop back home.

I came back home feeling exhausted already due to the scorching afternoon sun. I relaxed on the couch for a while and started feeling gastric pains. I got up and went to a fruit vendor around my neighbourhood and purchased a watermelon and pawpaw to eat. I washed them with water and salt to make sure I disinfect well before eating.

After eating the fruits, I felt relieved and my kids were back from school. They refused to eat; they ate snacks not too long ago and all they needed was to nap. We napped together and woke up to watch the Egypt versus Ghana soccer game. We were all supporting Ghana unfortunately, the game ended 2:2. After the game, I went to bed as I called it a day. Int my next diary, stay healthy, drink enough water to stay hydrated 🫶✌️.
