My Dream Place To Visit If STEEM Payment Is Accepted - Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 9 | Rwanda 🇷🇼

Greetings friends of the steemit travel community, and welcome to my blog as I share my entry to the challenge week 1.
When I hear about travelling, this takes me back to my university days. I could not just waste any time during holidays for any reason without travelling to different cities.
Today, I will be talking about one of the dream places I am planning to visit with my kids during the summer holidays. I will share this message based on the guiding questions below 👇 👇.

One of the countries I have set priorities to visit with my kids during the summer holidays is Rwanda 🇷🇼. My elder sister has been talking about this country since she went to stay there. She has been there for over a year now and was back in Cameroon in December 2022.
From the nice things about the country my sister narrated based on her experience there, I dream to visit Rwanda.
My destination will be Kigali, which is the capital city of Rwanda. However, I will visit other cities if deemed necessary.
In terms of what I want to achieve there, it will be a leisure trip with the kids. I will like to visit the genocide memorial centre in Kigali. I have been reading books about the genocide of 1994 in Rwanda. I will love to see for myself what human beings went through in the name of genocide.
Visiting the centre will enable me to get first-hand information concerning the genocide.
Which company do you want to serve your trip? You can write the name of the company or just write the criteria for the company you want to serve your trip.
I will choose Rwandair to serve my trip to Rwanda. I have taken South African Airways (SAA) and Ethiopian Airways in the past. SAA had good services as compared with Ethiopian Airlines. Unfortunately, I cannot experience the good services of SAA because they stopped flights from Cameroon.
I will prefer to go with Rwandair, which is considered one of the favourite airlines in Africa. Their services are better off than Ethiopian Airlines.
Rwandair is safer, more secure and reliable to trust than other airlines in Cameroon.
They offer onboard wifi to customers to check emails during flights. We all know there are some urgent and important emails which needed an urgent reply and you are onboard a flight with no internet connection. Rwandair makes it easy for you to use the Rwandair onboard wifi to respond to those urgent emails.
They equally offer a variety of movies ranging from action, comedy, drama, etc to entertain customers and not feel bored while onboard. There are also selected programs for kids.
Which payment method will you use, Crypto STEEM or FIAT? Give your reasons!
It would have been a nice means of paying with crypto Steem if it was a legal tender in Rwanda. Using crypto Steem would be easy for me to transfer from wallet to wallet.
For the trip, I will use fiat currency which is acceptable in Rwanda. Though it is a bit stressful trying to exchange the fiat from my local currency for dollars which are universally accepted.
How much travel costs will you incur to reach your destination? convert to STEEM value !
With travel costs, flights normally do not have fixed prices. They fluctuate based on different seasons and times of travel. During summer holidays, flight tickets are expensive and this also depends on when you booked it, and the airline.
For a round-trip ticket from Douala international airport to Kigali, I will estimate about $500 per person. Since I will be going with my two kids, we will spend about $1500 ( approximately 6475 Steem at the current rate) for flight tickets.
For accommodation, I will not spend on that since my sister is living in Kigali. Visiting the genocide memorial centre will require some cash. Feeding also will require some cash. I will budget about $5000 for the trip. This will be equivalent to approximately 21583 Steem at current rates.

Steem cannot be able to help me achieve this dream because it will mean that I should power down my entire account just for a leisure trip and start back afresh to build back my account to support others.
I will be doing this trip from my savings. I have been saving for this trip from my monthly salary. This will help me achieve this dream without powering down my account.
In sum, I will like to experience the good vibes I have been hearing about the new Rwanda in terms of security, the good weather condition, the clean nature of the city of Kigali, etc. I will like to call the attention of @majerius, @simonnwigwe and @josepha to share their entries to this challenge.
