#club100 // The Diary Game 3 : BetterLife with Steem (29/08/30)

Greetings to everyone on this platform, it’s another great day full with lots of activities. Today I will be sharing my daily activities on 29/08/2022. There are some days that you feel like resting all day but because of accumulated work, the day gets finished without you even stepping out.

This particular day has been ghost town in my city imposed by the separatists. If you have been following my diaries, then you must have come across a post talking about the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon. It is due to the crisis that separatists imposed ghost town on Mondays. During this day, markets, offices both private and public, banks, public transport, taxis, etc are not functioning. In some parts of the town, you could find few bikes working but most people are at home.

I spend the day through tout at home but later in the evening hours, I went outdoor. I wake up from bed at 6:00am, went to the restroom to ease myself. I had accumulated work to do on Steemit. I had to prepare breakfast for myself and my husband, which was bread, omelet with tea. My kids are still at my mother in law’s house.

After eating, my work mode was activated. I have my CR report to write which I have not done for the previous week because I lost my uncle and was occupied preparing for funeral rites. I equally had to complete google spread sheet online for team lucky dip so that our leader could write weekly reports.

When I was done with the spreadsheet, my account VP was at 100 and I had to curate posts on the steem-Cameroon community. I had to check if users respect the rules of plagiarism free, steemexclusive, no use of vote buying services, club status, etc.

By midday, the weather was abit warm and I was feeling tasty 😋 to drink something cold. This will help me refreshed my brain 😎😎. I took Malta Guinness from the fridge to mix with Bavaria. I have never drank such a mixture but this day I decided to experiment. The end product was not bad but was not also good in my mouth.

On this day, I usually used it to empty my trash at the site for the garbage truck company to carry. For almost a month now, I have not been to the site because I was not around town. I had to visit it on this day to empty my trash. The weather was good and I was not feeling cold anymore.

When I arrived the garbage site, I noticed it has been maybe weeks of accumulated trash and almost taking half of the road. It seem as the garbage truck has not been working. The smell I perceived from afar was not good at all and I could imagine business places around the site and even residents. I quickly emptied my trash and left.

While at home, I decided to take my bath and also heated food for my husband and I to take lunch. It was eru and garri. I did not eat much because I was not feeling as to eat food. My husband removed pineapple from the fridge and peeled. We ate together and I continued with my work.

In the evening, I had to review engagement challenge entries in Steem-cameroon community. After the review, I filled the spreadsheet online so that at the end of the week, we will use for reporting. This activity kept me busy till around 11:00pm that I had to shutdown my laptop and went to bed.
