Teddy was lost

Teddy is a dog which is a pet in our home. It was 14 years old. My father bought it when I was in grade seven. It came to our home as a little pappy. Firstly, we named it as blacky but my mother did not like that name so she change the name as Teddy.

Yesterday , around 3.30 p.m. my mother and me went to my grand mothers’ home. We came back around 5.30p.m. After arrival to our home, we found Teddy here and there. Normally it ran towards us after we come back to home. Because of such thing didn’t happen we scared.

It never goes outside the gate normally. If it goes out it go with us. It never goes alone. My mother found it hear and there because I started to cry. My father called our neighbors and ask them did they see Teddy. Unluckily none of them see it. I couldn’t stop the tears. Many things come for my mind.

There was a heavy rain in the evening. paddy field in front of our house look like this…

So, we couldn’t start to find it until the water level decrease. Because I was cry loudly my mother left home to find it. I also engage with her.

Firstly, we search it around the paddy field. Normally it goes that place. Suddenly I sow something like a black ball. I felt so happy. That was my pet, teddy. I dandle him happily. Then we took it and bath well. Then we rub off it well and make warm place for it to sleep.

That incident I never forget. Today I make a promise myself. That is “I protect my pappy lovely”
