Back again with me @chairulrizalx in our lovely SteemKids Community. At this moment, I took part in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 3 Week 4 contest organized by this community, which was about childhood, and adulthood, also which I liked the most. Here I share feedback about childhood memories and which one is more fun to live.
Who is considered as a child in your country ? include Age
A person is considered a child in the country where I live ranging from 1 to 17 years old, at the age of 17 someone is required to have an ID card and is allowed to drive with a driver's license. Continuing from the age of 18 until after is considered an adult in terms of age, although there are some rules such as consuming alcoholic beverages only for those aged 21 years and over and being responsible if bad things happen to them.
sourceThe Indonesian state applies several rules other than those I mentioned above, such as to get married, you must be 19 years old, then if you want to join political organizations and the like, you are only 18 years old and above.
According to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, Paragraph 1, a child is someone who is 18 (eighteen) years old, including children who are still in the womb. Source
After reading the law, we can understand that the age of children adopted by the Indonesian state is children from the time they are in the womb before giving birth until they are 18 years old less a day.
Who is considered as a adult in your country ? include Age
Some of us think that the age of maturity is 17 years, but becoming an adult itself is accompanied by complex things and is not fixed on age. In Indonesia, a person is considered an adult when he is 18 years old, at the age that has been determined, a person has been given responsibilities like paying taxes, being punished according to the law applicable to adults, and getting the right to contribute to political democracy in the country.
sourceIn Indonesia, a person may marry with the condition that he is 19 years old, this is considered adult age, and it is appropriate for both men and women to marry because at that stage most people have graduated from the school required by the government and are not considered children in terms of age.

I have seen that you preferred adulthood compared to childhood because of independence, making money for yourself and what you referred as having a purpose for yourself. Thanks for these points and also for sharing with us.

Cuando somos adultos podemos estudiar, trabajar y trazar las metas que deseamos cumplir, para sentirnos realizados en la vida y felices. Encontrar el propósito de nuestra vida es más facil en la etapa adulta.
