Poem - Surviving the Year
"Surviving the Year"
—
too many things happened,
some good and others bad.
I am thankful all the same,
After all, I did survived,
and that is all that matters.
Though no matter what it's just
right to give our respect.
ourselves—who knows what'll
suddenly crop out of its rear
—really, it's so hard to tell.
